Terms of Service

1. The service

DroneSetu helps remote pilots upload flight logs, analyse them, and maintain digital fleet and logbook records (including DGCA-format logbooks). It is a record-keeping and analysis aid — it is not an official regulatory system, an air-traffic service, or a control link to any aircraft, and it never commands or connects to your drone.

2. Eligibility & your account

• You must be at least 18 years old and a certified or registered remote pilot (or otherwise lawfully entitled to operate the aircraft you log).
• You are responsible for the accuracy of the information in your account and logbooks, and for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Your data & content

You retain ownership of the data and content you add (fleet records, logbook entries, flight summaries). You grant us a limited licence to store and process it solely to provide the service to you. Raw flight-log files remain on your own device and are not uploaded to us. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service, including: attempting to access other users’ data; probing, scanning or breaching security or authentication; uploading malware or unlawful content; reverse-engineering or disrupting the service; or using it to violate any applicable law or aviation regulation.

5. Compliance & safety — important

• You remain solely responsible for the safe and lawful operation of your aircraft and for meeting all regulatory and record-keeping obligations (including those of the DGCA or your applicable authority).
• Logbooks and reports generated by DroneSetu are aids; you are responsible for verifying their accuracy before relying on or submitting them as official records. We are not responsible for any incorrect, missing or misinterpreted data — you must check the truthfulness of every entry yourself.
• Any analysis, findings, scores or tuning suggestions (including PID/parameter recommendations) are advisory only, are starting points to be independently verified, and are not a substitute for the manufacturer’s guidance, official procedures, autotune, or a qualified person’s judgement. DroneSetu never writes parameters to, or controls, your aircraft.

6. Intellectual property

DroneSetu, including its software, design and trademarks, is owned by us and our licensors. These Terms grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the service; they do not transfer any of our intellectual-property rights to you.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of analysis. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any analysis is complete or correct.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DroneSetu and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from aircraft operation, damage, injury, regulatory action, or loss of data, arising out of or relating to your use of the service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

9. Termination

You may stop using DroneSetu and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or use the service unlawfully. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (such as ownership, disclaimers and liability) will survive.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the “last updated” date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
